About the Role
Twin Cities Pet Rescue is looking for volunteers to help fulfill supply orders at our office in Maplewood, MN. We do not house animals onsite so animal interaction is minimal.. Tasks include (but are not limited to):
Help prepare foster supplies
Using our online supply system, gather supplies requested.
Appropriately label supplies for pickup.
Light cleaning of office areas, as needed.
If interested, there is opportunity to cross-train with other volunteer opportunities such as Office or Event Volunteer
Volunteers should be comfortable completing tasks individually and having the capability to lift heavier items such as bags of dog food or dog kennels). Volunteers should also be willing to learn new things and communicate with the team regularly.
Ideally supply picking volunteers would not have pet allergies as there are pets that enter the building fairly regularly.
Requirements
Required:
Ability to lift 20-50lbs (bags of dog food, containers of litter, dog crates, etc)
Comfortable with navigating online supply system
Preferred:
Familiar with and ability to identify common cat and dog supplies
Availability to be on-site weekly at the Twin Cities Pet Rescue office on Thursday or Friday. Other availability may be accommodated.Â
