Join us as a Dog Foster Coordinator!
Dog Foster Coordinators play an important part in helping dogs in rescue by being the main point of contact for dog fosters. In this role, you will respond to a variety of emails from fosters and work to address concerns, answer questions, and celebrate wins. This includes welcoming new dog fosters, working directly with our intake team to identify dogs we have open fosters for, and answering day to day questions from fosters or helping direct fosters to the appropriate team.
Dog Foster Coordinators work as a team to accomplish tasks. But this role can be done 100% remotely so being comfortable working independently is important. as well. Foster coordinators to check the inbox daily but understand that some days are busier than others or that things may come up. So being able to check the inbox 3-4 times a week is also possible.
Overall, this is an excellent role to jump into if you have a passion for rescuing dogs but aren't able to foster yourself.
Requirements
Access to a computer and reliable internet connection
General knowledge about dogs and their care needs
Ability to both independently and as a team as needed
Comfortable learning new computer programs and writing emails
