Petco Cat Care

Twin Cities Pet Rescue partners with the Burnsville, Highland Park, Stillwater,Bloomington,  and Eden Prairie Petco stores to house cats for adoption. We need volunteers that can periodically check in on the cats, refresh food/water bowls, scoop litter boxes, and play with the kitties to provide extra enrichment. Volunteers can choose their own schedule and can visit the store as often as once a month to a couple times a week.Volunteers can choose which stores they volunteer at and times are also very flexible (they just need to be within store hours). 

We use the Slack app to connect the store cat team with each other and share updates on visits. So having a mobile phone or computer that can access the internet is important. Visits are typically 30 mins each but can be longer if you want! Overall, this is a very flexible role that provides hands-on cat care without having kitties physically in your home!
