Hans is participating in the 1-800-PetMeds Cares™ DOGust Birthday Contest which will pay the adoption fees for 18 less-adoptable* dogs and/or cats at three winning 501(c)(3) shelters or rescues. Little Hans, is a puppy mill survivor and has been in rescue with Twin Cities Pet Rescue for 757 days. Like most puppy mill survivors he’s quite skittish around new people, and does best when he has a confident dog friend by his side. Hans also takes daily medication to prevent seizures. He’s sweet as can be but has had a hard time finding an adoptive family due to his shyness and medical needs.
