Hi, my name is Theodore, but everyone calls me Theo, or when I do something especially cute, TheADORABLE. Nice to meet you!
I lived my first year with my mom as a stray in Texas, then I was originally adopted in the fall of 2018 when I was around 1 year old. Guess that makes me about 3.5 now! After that, I moved all the way to Washington for a bit and then finally to MN. I’ve moved around a lot in my short life! My previous owner thought I might be a Schipperke, while some think I’m the spitting image – in looks and personality – of a MinPin/Cattle Dog mix.
I might be the sweetest dog you ever meet, once I’m comfortable. Because I’ve moved around a lot, I am scared around anyone new. After a few short days in my foster home, I became the most affectionate and loyal dog my family has ever had. Whenever my foster parents leave and come back – even if only gone for a short trip, I shower them with kisses and and full-body wags and wiggles; I even bring them my favorite toys to show how happy I am!
I love to cuddle close to you, and I like space sometimes, too. Walks/jogs and playing with toys (especially squeakers!) never get old. I like playing with my foster sister, too, but sometimes we have different ideas of fun – usually I like barking at her and running around together. I eat all kinds of treats and food, and I’m really smart so I’m picking up on lots of training and tricks. I’ve never had a single accident in the house either!
I’ve moved around a lot in my life, now I’m ready for my forever home. I need someone who is patient and willing to work with me on my fear. I will likely never be a social butterfly, or even make an appearance at a local brewery. But I will be your faithful, goofy, and always loving companion!
