It’s Happy Tails Tuesday which means we get to share updates from our TCPR alumni! This week our update comes from Poppy (f.k.a. Nutmeg) Family.
“It was a tough decision to adopt a kitten again. Months before that we lost our cat Squirt to cancer. We were very devastated. One day we decided to just look at kittens and we came across Nutmeg (now Poppy). We were a bit nervous, but decided is was almost a new year and it was time to open our hearts again. Then the approval email came through. We were excited to meet her. Once she came out of her cage we knew she was the one.
She was scared, but we knew we had to have her. We brought her home later that week and fell in love. Lily (our 12 year old cat) is still getting used to her. She is full of energy, but loves to snuggle. She’s still getting used to other people when they come over, but she loves us. We couldn’t be happier and she seems like she knows she’s home.”
