Happy Tails

Liberty

Liberty is a now 9 year old lab who was adopted in December, 2013. When TCPR rescued her from a local impound last summer, she had a large mammary mass, that turned out to be cancerous. TCPR had the mass removed, and at her 6 month post op check, Liberty looked great! The cancer hadn’t spread, so it shouldn’t return. This is what her family has to say about her:

“Liberty is the most perfect addition to our family that we could have ever asked for. Our kitten Simba wasn’t sure we needed a dog; however, Liberty took to all of us with ease. She loves to play fetch and could do so for hours and hides her balls all over the house, always ready to play. She is gentle and sweet, often greeting anyone who will pet her. She’s an old soul who is always so happy. She’s always flashing a goofy grin at us whether she is sprinting around outside or cuddling up in bed. Liberty is truly a gift to our family. We are so thankful to TCPR for bringing us together.”

Thank you to Liberty’s family for adopting this special gal – who many people might have overlooked due to her age and health history.
