Our Happy Tail Tuesday comes from Elmo FKA Chunk.
From his new family, “Elmo is a great kitty! He’s very affectionate and likes to be near me all the time. If I leave the room for more than a few minutes, he’ll find me. When I get out of the shower in the morning, I can count on him coming into the bathroom for pets and snuggles because he missed me so much for those 15 minutes. And every day when I get home from work, I can see him in the window waiting for me.
A big reason for adopting Elmo was that I wanted a friend for my other cat Daphne after her best buddy Oscar passed away. They are making good progress, slowly but surely. I put their food bowls right next to each other a couple weeks ago, and as you can see from the picture, they can now sit very close! In a few months they might be sleeping together!
