Volunteer Opportunities

Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a small animal rescue organization that is predominantly run by dedicated volunteers. Volunteering with TCPR is a rewarding experience because your volunteer work directly helps animals in need. We are looking for some amazing individuals to join our team! VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Supplies Delivery Volunteers (1 Needed)

We are seeking Supplies Delivery volunteers to distribute pet supplies for our foster animals to four hubs in the TC metro area.  You will be responsible for a once monthly supply distribution assignment, starting at our storage facility in Oakdale and delivering requested supplies to our Maplewood, St. Paul, and Minneapolis supply hubs.  Reliable transportation and the ability to lift 50 pounds is necessary.

Virtual Vetting Coordinator

Our Virtual Vetting Coordinator will support TCPR’s mission by ensuring all animals receive our standard veterinary care, as well as any specialized care recommended, prior to adoption. Successful candidates will be very organized and should be comfortable working with a virtual team, making veterinary appointments, and entering records.  A friendly customer service attitude and strong attention to detail is needed!

Events Team Members

Our TCPR Events Team is recruiting new support volunteers for fundraising, community, and adoption events. Starting in April, we will have opportunities to support the fundraising efforts of TCPR and will need consistent, reliable individuals who can volunteer during several event shifts in a customer-facing role.

Opportunities to help coordinate and execute TCPR events are also available! This includes participation in animal-related community events, adoption events, and a variety of unique fundraisers!

Social Media Assistant

The Social Media Assistant will work alongside our Social Media Manager and will be responsible for creating engaging content across various social platforms. This is a remote role and successful candidates should be self-motivated and consistent in creating posts as directed by the Social Media Manager.

Dog Adoption Coordinator

The Dog Adoption Coordinator will help find the perfect home for our dogs in foster care. Successful volunteers in this role will work with foster families when their foster dog is ready to meet their new prospective families. Dog Adoption Coordinators will work remotely to post adoptable dog biographies and review, respond, and process incoming adoption applications. The core responsibilities of this role are remote; however, you may be asked to participate in in-person activities such as adoption and fundraising events when adoptable animals are present.

Cat Adoption Coordinator

The Cat Adoption Coordinator will help find the perfect home for our cats in foster care. Successful volunteers in this role will work with foster families when their foster cat is ready to meet their new prospective families. Cat Adoption Coordinators will work remotely to post adoptable cat biographies and review, respond, and process incoming adoption applications. The core responsibilities of this role are remote; however, you may be asked to participate in in-person activities such as adoption and fundraising events when adoptable animals are present. Successful volunteers in the role will be able to dedicate 30 minutes per day monitoring the shared inbox.
